Built in 2001, El Capitan Canyon offers creek side cabins with full baths and designer tents with down filled comforters, wet bar, private fire pit, (just to name a few) and an unbelievable back to nature experience. The canyon boasts 15 miles of backcountry hiking and mountain biking as well as ocean sports (kayaking, surfing, swimming, scuba diving, fishing) and and outdoor heated pool. Conference facilities include a one of a kind "Yurt" meeting room that accommodates from 2 to 200 people. Amenities included in room spa service, on site gourmet canyon market and seasonal jazz dinner concert series. Room Information

Safari Tent
Standard Safari tent with tent shell only. No bedding, but includes upto 4 cots. Canvas available or bring your own. The adventure tent comes with a hardwood floor,and private firepit and outdoor eating area, but no additional furniture included. All tents are located a short distance from area. They have several screened windows and adjustable canvas coverings. The tent dooropens completely and can be screened in, if needed. NEWLY RENOVATED BATHOUSES WITH RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS ARE JUST STEPS AWAY.


Deluxe Tent
Deluxe Safari Tent with queen bed. Canvas cots available upon request. Deluxe Safari Tent with queen bed. Tent decor includes a hard wood floor, bedsidetables, with a small front porch. Includes canvas deck chairs, and outdoor eating area with a fire pit and grill. There is bedding and towels for two people. Canvas cots available upon request. All tents are located a short distance from the creek, and have screened windows with adjustable canvas coverings. Front door is also screened in and can be adjusted as needed.


Cabin
Standard Guest Cabin w/two sets of bunk beds. Small loft can accommodate two children. Sleeping pads included in the loft, but no bedding. Cabin bunks include a bathroom w/shower, anda wet bar with refrigerator and freezer. There is a microwave and coffeemaker, firepit grill, and and outdoor eating area. The cabin is located a short distance from the creek, and has a beautiful view of the canyon. Cabin has a charming cedar interior with hardwood floors and upscale cabin furnishings.
Deluxe Cabin
Deluxe Cabin with queen bed. Loft available that can accommodate two children. Sleeping pads are included in the loft, but without any additional bedding. The cabin includes a bathroom w/shower, wet bar with refrigerator and freezer. Plus a microwave and coffeemaker. There is a private outdoor firepit and grill with eating area. The Cabin is located near the creek and has double french doors. It also has a covered porch and a beautiful view of the canyon. The cabin decor is a very charming cedar with hardwood floors and upscale cabin furniture.
2 Room Cabin
Features either a king or queen bed. Loft available that can accommodate two children. Sleeping pads are included in the loft, but without any additional bedding. The cabin includes a bathroom w/shower, wet bar with refrigerator and freezer. Plus a microwave and coffeemaker. There is a private outdoor firepit and grill with eating area. Jacuzzi Cabin
Features a king bed, gas fireplace, stove, and jacuzzi. Also, includes a wet bar w/refrigerator, microwave, coffeewave, and a bathroom w/shower. There is a private firepit and grill w/eating located outdoors. The Cabin is located near the creek, and has a view of the canyon.

Directions

From the airport, exit onto Highway 101 North. Proceed North on 101 for approximately 7 miles. Exit El Capitan State Beach. El Capitan Canyon Resort sign is located approximately 300 yards from off ramp on the right hand side. Turn right into driveway and proceed to the Kiosk.

From the airport, take 405 Freeway north to the 101 Highway north. Follow 101 north, approximately 75 miles, throught Santa Barbara to El Capitan State Beach exit. El Capitan Canyon Resort sign is located approximately 300 yards from off ramp on the right hand side. Turn right into driveway and proceed to the Kiosk.
